| In 2000 and in line with its international expansion plans for Latin America, SKBergé starts representation and distribution of the Korean brand Kia in Peru, becoming a referent brand in the Peruvian market and being awarded by Kia Motors Headquarters for achieving the Best Brand Positioning. A year later, SKBergé keeps on crossing borders and acquires de representation of Kia for the Argentina market. As well, Kia has obtained excellent results in this Trans-Andean country, ranking ahead in sales among all other Korean brands in 2003 and 2004. Subsequently, in March 2007, Kia Argentina ranked in 14th place among all worldwide distributors of Kia Motors Corporation, favorably positioning the company as the best importer in Latin American and the Caribbean. Kia’s success in both countries is mainly thanks to SKBergé’s mission statement, becoming the undisputed best option for all relevant brands represented by the group, focusing its efforts on providing substantial value to each particular brand. |
